I love to paint
For the past several years I have painted mostly in oils, with an occasional acrylic or watercolor sneaking in from time to time. But, I have always moved back to the oils, for their workability and lusciousness.

An artist friend mentioned to me recently that my paintings represented peacefulness. That had never occurred to me before, but I think she was right. There is a stillness apparent in almost all of my work, perhaps even a deliberate removal of tension.
